We offer private in-home, daycare board & train, and hybrid training classes.
We currently specialize in puppy foundations, adult house manners (we are not specializing in aggression or severe reactivity at this time) and offer psychiatric service dog training and evaluations.
Every SCC package is a curriculum, not a session count. Each week is sequenced to match your dog's developmental stage and behavioral arc. You're not buying hours — you're buying a system.

Puppy Culture Setup & Breeder Support
Your litter deserves the best possible start — and so do the families waiting for them.
This package supports responsible breeders through the earliest and most formative weeks of a puppy's life. We begin with a pre-whelping home visit to walk through the Puppy Culture framework, set up your whelping environment, and establish a neurological stimulation and handling protocol from day one. A second post-birth visit ensures the program is running smoothly and addresses any early behavioral observations as the litter develops.
Each puppy receives an individual temperament evaluation, assessed against validated behavioral markers to identify drive levels, environmental sensitivity, sociability, and early service dog suitability. You'll receive a written evaluation for every puppy in the litter — a meaningful tool for matching each dog to the right home, handler, or career path.

Getting a dog is one of the biggest decisions you'll make for your household. Most people spend more time researching a refrigerator.
This is the session for the person who wants to get it right from the start — before the dog comes home, before the breed is chosen, before the crate is ordered from the wrong list on Reddit.
In a 90-minute private virtual session, we work through everything that actually determines whether a dog thrives in your home: your lifestyle, household dynamics, energy levels, experience, and long-term goals. We look honestly at breed fit — not just what you think you want, but what will actually work. We talk about food, environment setup, and what the first weeks realistically look like.
After your session, you receive a personalized puppy prep guidebook built around your specific household, a vetted shortlist of breeders or rescues matched to your goals, and a curated Amazon list of the gear that actually matters — nothing you don't need, nothing left out.
Once your dog is home, we check back in. A complimentary 30-minute follow-up call two to three weeks after homecoming gives you a space to ask questions, troubleshoot early hiccups, and make sure you and your dog are off to the right start together.
You'll leave knowing exactly what dog to get, where to get them, and how to bring them home well.

Sonoran Canine Co believes ethical training requires the right fit for both dogs and humans. After the initial Week 1 assessment and first training session, we will evaluate whether this training approach is appropriate for the dog and handler team.
If it is determined by the trainer or family that continuing is not in the dog’s best interest, the program may be discontinued. In that case, the unused portion of the training package will be refunded.
